Selling at Auction

 
Vendors Commission

 

We have one of the most competitive selling commissions at just 12.5 % of the hammer price achieved, plus £2 per lot lotting fee.

Insurance is charged at 1% of the hammer price.

All charges are subject to VAT at the current rate.

We would draw your attention to the full Terms of Sale on the entry form. 

 
Easy Selling

 

Selling at Fraser Glennie auctions is particularly easy.

If you know what you wish to sell and approximately what you expect for it then just:

  • Phone or email for an Entry Form.

  • At the same time tell us of anything you think is worth particular mention. Photographs/emailed images can help in the marketing. 

  • When the form arrives, enter your name and address etc., and your list of items to sell. (We may lot them differently if we think it will produce better results.)

  • Forward it preferably to arrive not later than 7 days before the entry date.

  • We will acknowledge its receipt and give you a Vendor number.

  • Please remember that goods that fail to reach the reserve must be taken home again - so be as selective as to what you really don't want sold below a minimum price.

On receipt of the Vendor number:

  • Affix a small sticker/label to each item, showing both the Vendor and Item number on your entry form.

  • Deliver to Bingham Hall on the Entry Day. It's that simple!

  • If you wish to discuss reserves etc., before or on entry day, we shall be pleased to help you.

Carrier:

  • If you require a contractor to move the goods for you this can be arranged at cost price. But please advise us in good time.

Individual items can by arrangement be appraised at our office.

FORMAL VALUATIONS
